Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support daily meal service and kitchen sanitation. You will learn food service routines, set up trays, and assist with serving while maintaining clean work areas.

The role requires reading procedures, following recipes, and obtaining a food handlers' certificate. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• To leave the kitchen in a clean and sanitary manner and be of assistance when called upon by the cook or dietary supervisor.
