Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dietary aide to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth service on shift. You will learn the food service routine quickly, set up meal trays, and assist with serving while helping to keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.

You will monitor dishwashing, assist with cleaning, and participate in ongoing training. A high school diploma and a food handler certificate are required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Learn the food service routine quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Observe dishwasher temperatures and operate the machine.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Carry out trash and groceries and keep the area clean.
