Job summary

Amato's in Colchester, VT is seeking a full-time Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring top customers experience and smooth kitchen flow. Direct food prep for hot plate and cold well items, maximize sales, and minimize waste while upholding Food Safety Standards.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience and valid food safety certificate or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders per procedures and keep hot plate/cold well stocked with fresh grab-and-go items.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including equipment cleaning.
• Receive, rotate and store all incoming orders.
• Communicate positively with kitchen and store staff and ask for help when needed.
• Lead kitchen staff with Store Manager to hire, train and supervise.
• Maintain inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages.
• Record waste and work to minimize waste.
• Lead during busy times and foster a positive team environment.
