Job summary

Maplefields - East Middlebury, VT is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

You will direct food preparation for hot plate and cold well items, maintain safety standards, manage inventory, train staff, and lead during peak hours to maximize sales while reducing waste.

• Kitchen experience and food safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders per procedures and keep hot plate and cold well stocked.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including equipment and surfaces.
• Receive, rotate and store incoming orders and manage inventory.
• Lead kitchen staff during busy times and coordinate with Store Manager.
• Train staff and ensure proper shift coverage and safety compliance.
• Record waste and strive to minimize waste while ensuring freshness.
