Maui Brewing Co. Kailua is hiring a friendly Greeter/Retail Associate to welcome guests and support the FOH team. The role is full-time or part-time in Kailua, HI, with a starting pay rate of $14.75 per hour plus tips.

You will greet guests, manage the waitlist, keep merchandise stocked, and assist customers with purchases while upholding responsible alcohol service and hygiene standards. This position offers meals during training, after-hours meals, employee discounts, and PTO after one year,

Qualifications

• Greeter/hostess experience in a fast-paced venue.

Job Title: Greeter/Retail

Location: Maui Brewing Co. Kailua

Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Rate:$14.75/hour + tips (dependent on shift & sales)

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the retail store, keep merchandise stocked, and help guests with retail purchases
• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and manage the waitlist
• Ensure compliance with MBCR's Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and local liquor laws
• Support the FOH team with various tasks like folding napkins, bussing tables, maintaining dining and bathroom areas
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines

Summary of Qualifications:

• You have some experience as a greeter or hostess in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment
• You have some experience in retail or customer service
• You are personable, get along great with others and know how to be a team player
• You have weekend availability (Friday - Sunday)
• Average hourly tips: $15-$25 (dependent on shift & sales)
• Free shift meals during training, then $5 shift meals thereafter
• Employee discounts - 50% off food, 50% off 2 alcoholic drinks if eligible, and 33% off merchandise
• PTO after 1 year
