Job summary

East West Hospitality at Stag Lodge in Park City, UT, seeks a reliable Kitchen Steward for the winter season. You will keep dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and ready for service in a fast-paced mountain kitchen.

This full-time seasonal role runs November through early April, Thursday–Monday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with holidays and weekends required. Pay is $22–$24/hour, depending on experience, plus benefits such as paid sick time and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Dishwashing or kitchen experience welcome; prior experience not required.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow sanitation procedures.
• Reliability and teamwork; willingness to learn and adapt in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment; report malfunctions.
• Maintain clean kitchen areas including floors, walls, shelving, and trash areas.
• Stock handwashing stations with soap and towels; ensure supplies.
• Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks for equipment and surfaces.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and kitchen staff to prioritize tasks.
• Keep loading dock and waste areas clean and organized; operate baler/compactor.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards and support team environment.

Nestled slopeside in the heart of Deer Valley, Stag Lodge offers luxury accommodations, ski-in/ski-out convenience, and genuine mountain hospitality. At the heart of the experience is Café 52, our signature restaurant known for its inviting atmosphere, elevated mountain cuisine, and exceptional guest service.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Steward who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and supporting a talented culinary team. In this role, you will help keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring dishes, equipment, and workspaces are clean and ready for service. What You'll Do

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen areas, including floors, walls, shelving, and trash disposal areas.
• Ensure handwashing stations are properly stocked with soap, paper towels, and other necessary supplies.
• Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks, including cleaning kitchen equipment, drains, ovens, grills, and walk-in coolers.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and kitchen staff to prioritize tasks and support smooth daily operations.
• Keep loading dock and waste disposal areas clean and organized, operating the cardboard baler and trash compactor as needed.
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards while contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

What You Bring

• Dishwashing or kitchen experience is welcome; no previous experience required.
• Experience maintaining a clean, organized workspace is helpful.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures and work steadily during busy periods.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working in hot and humid conditions.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
