Job summary

Le Méridien Charlotte | Sheraton Charlotte is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a dishwasher. You will support kitchen operations to keep service running smoothly and help deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires full-time availability for both AM and PM shifts and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English with guests and colleagues.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to push, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dish, and storage areas.
• Store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment properly.
• Assist with plate-up and food production as needed.
• Remove trash and keep kitchen floors and work areas clean.
• Assist with inventory of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is in working condition and report shortages or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and company standards.
• Support efficient kitchen operations and overall service performance.
