Job summary

Le Méridien Charlotte | Sheraton Charlotte Hotels is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a full-time Dishwasher. You will help keep kitchen operations running smoothly and support the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Shifts are full-time with flexible availability for both AM and PM. You will operate dishwashing equipment, maintain cleanliness, assist with plate-up, inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met to

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English with guests and staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to push, bend, stoop, reach, and perform manual tasks.
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dish, and storage areas.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with plate-up and food production as needed.
• Remove trash and maintain clean kitchen floors and work areas.
• Assist with inventory of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working condition and report shortages or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and company standards.
• Support efficient kitchen operations and overall service performance.

Requirements

Skills to be successful in this role would include:

• Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.

• Hearing, reading, writing.
• Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.
