Job summary

Proper Hospitality is seeking a diligent dishwasher to maintain exceptional cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. You will operate dishwashing machines, sanitize all kitchenware, and assist in keeping storage areas organized and stocked for peak service times.

The role requires teamwork, ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and flexibility to work busy shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation procedures is preferred.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware to a high standard.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper sanitization of all kitchenware.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas and surfaces following health guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in storage areas and walk-ins.
• Organize and label cleaning supplies and ensure easy access during shifts.
• Help stock supplies and set up/ break down kitchen areas for service.
