Job summary

Legal Sea Foods is seeking a Shift Supervisor (HOH) to oversee restaurant operations in the absence of a manager, ensuring staff adherence to policies, food safety standards, and exceptional guest service. The role involves staffing, training, and handling guest concerns with escalation to senior management as needed.

You will supervise POS and Kitchen Display use, coordinate with the management team, and support the team to maintain high-volume service with accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 6 months with the Company (or HR approval) with satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HOH shift in absence of senior manager.
• Ensure opening/closing duties, schedule adherence, clock in/out.
• Assist with staffing and interview setup; reference checks.
• Assign tasks, manage breaks, delegate duties.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues on shift.
• Escalate to GM/Chef as appropriate.
• Enforce safety, sanitation and respectful workplace policies.
• Report incidents to Senior Management and HelpDesk as required.
• Provide onboarding training: Service & Sanitation, Menu, Fish, POS.
• Support guests with hospitality and guest service recovery.
