Job summary

Legends Global Moscone Center San Francisco is seeking a RIC Lead to plan and execute kitchen staging, using reports to organize production and preempt issues such as shortages or mismatches. The role supports the RIC Supervisor in day-to-day tasks and ensures timely completion of opening and closing duties.

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication, ability to follow directions, and experience with basic kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Knowledge of proper food handling and storage.
Ability to follow directions and perform the work.
Able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
Basic PC skills (Excel/Word); CBORD a plus.
Must be a member in good standing of the local Union.

Responsibilities

Review documents, such as production schedules to assess requirements for Kitchen Preparation.
Create staging plans for RIC to assist in preparation process.
Calculate figures for required amounts of all kitchen recipe needs.
Arrange and label supplies needed for service production.
Coordinate with purchasing, kitchen staff and management to align production plans and updates.
Maintain log of staged items, including location and status.
Ensure RIC complete daily tasks per opening/closing checklists.
Assist RIC with receiving, issuing, and invoice/PO reconciliation as needed.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards required by the kitchen and health department.
