Job summary

Insights Training Group LLC at Cincinnati Job Corps Center is seeking a dining services assistant to support cooks and supervisors in food preparation, serving, and sanitation. You will help set up and break down serving lines, maintain a clean dining area, and rotate perishable items to ensure freshness.

The role requires reliability, a focus on safety, and the ability to work Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Training on center policies will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred; must obtain within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cooks and Food Services Supervisor in preparing, serving, and sanitation of the dining facility, equipment, and surfaces.
• Set up and breakdown of serving line.
• Keep the dining and kitchen area clean and organized.
• Notify staff of items that need to be replenished and restocked.
• Rotate perishable items at end of shift to ensure freshness.
• Serve students, staff, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with dishes when necessary.
• Change and empty trash receptacles.
• Follow all safety and sanitary rules and regulations.
