Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Food Service Worker to support meal preparation, dishwashing, and sanitation in a Job Corps cafeteria setting. You will help maintain clean kitchens, set up service lines, and assist with food service per planned menus, while contributing to student employability and Career Success Standards.

The role involves supervising work-based learning for trainees and exploring ways to integrate food services with academic and leisure activities.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to perform quantitative calculations with fractions and decimals.

Responsabilités

• Keep all kitchen equipment in sanitary condition.
• Maintain clean storerooms, walk‑in fridges and freezers.
• Set up dish room and dishwashing machine for meals.
• Wash tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Assist in preparing and serving food per menu.
• Help supervise trainee programs and teach employability skills.
• Support health and wellness learning through center events.
