Job summary

Margaritaville Miami is seeking an experienced kitchen supervisor to lead line cooks and stewards, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will manage inventory, forecast labor needs, coach staff, and collaborate with department heads to deliver guest-pleasing meals while maintaining Margaritaville’s upbeat, guest-focused spirit. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.
• Experience in a high volume environment.
• Ability to supervise multiple levels of culinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee line and production cooks and stewards to meet standards and budget.
• Conduct proper ordering procedures to maintain par levels of kitchen products.
• Ensure high standards of service efficiency, sanitation, training and safety practices.
• Perform daily walk-through of inventory to determine daily production.
• Lead staff meetings with supervisors and coordinate with Kitchen Manager on labor and evaluations.
• Develop, coach, discipline, and mentor staff; manage staff schedules and forecast needs.
