Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
• Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent judgment and decision making abilities.
• Ability to supervise multiple levels of culinary workers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Supervise Sous Chefs, prep cooks, line cooks, and back-of-house trainers.
• Develop menus for restaurant operations.
• Conduct inventory walks and manage ordering to maintain par levels.
• Monitor labor costs and forecast staffing needs.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and high-quality product standards.
• Coordinate catering/banquet functions with department heads.
