Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor in the United States. You will oversee setup and food production areas, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

You will direct and train kitchen staff, monitor records, manage leftovers, and maintain cleanliness. The role requires strong English communication and reliable attendance with a team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Self-starting, even disposition and professional appearance.
• Willing to pitch in and help teammates and maintain teamwork.
• Ability to supervise, train and discipline staff as needed.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct the work and train kitchen associates to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Inspect daily use records with the Executive/Sous Chef to ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Pull all food for daily production from walk-in and use leftovers efficiently.
• Communicate directions clearly to staff in writing and verbally.
• Attend associates meetings and promote effective communication between kitchen areas.
• Maintain housekeeping and enforce the clean as you go policy in all areas of the kitchen.
• Inspect all work stations and ensure proper setup for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Prepare daily production charts.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
