Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking an experienced kitchen manager for our Operations department at the theater level. You will lead BOH staff, coach and train cooks, ensure food safety, and uphold company policies while delivering a top-notch guest experience.

The role requires 1–3 years of kitchen leadership, a culinary arts degree (preferred), and a Food Managers Certification. Flexible scheduling includes holidays and weekends. Equal opportunity employer and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of kitchen management experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading cooks and front-line staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Able to train staff on recipes and SOPs.
• Ability to manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH employees.
• Hire, coach, and train kitchen staff for assignments and equipment.
• Train kitchen and concessions personnel in cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure food is prepared to recipe specs within ticket times.
• Maintain FIFO food rotation and proper storage temperatures.
• Communicate changes for new menu items and kitchen procedures.
• Oversee daily opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Plan weekly kitchen scheduling based on occupancy and movie schedule.
• Support FOH duties as needed.
