Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a full-time Kitchen Operations Manager to lead all back-of-house activities in our theater restaurants. You will coach and train kitchen staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and ensure food is prepared to recipe specifications.

You will hire, schedule, and develop team members, monitor food costs, and implement new menu items and company initiatives while maintaining high guest service.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of kitchen management experience are required.
• Culinary arts degree preferred.
• Food Managers Certification is required.
• Proficient guest service, administrative and follow-up skills.
• Able to communicate with guests, peers, vendors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH employees including food prep, safety and sanitation.
• Hire, coach, and train kitchen staff to perform assignments and operate equipment.
• Train kitchen and concessions staff in cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures with HRBP.
• Manage recipe specifications and ticket times to ensure quality food.
• Oversee food storage, FIFO rotation, and temperature records.
• Attend trainings for new menus and roll out new items.
• Coordinate changes for food products and kitchen systems.
• Roll out company initiatives and new menu implementations.
• Ensure daily opening, mid, and closing duties are completed.
