Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Tualatin, OR is looking for a Heart of House Lead to oversee prep, portioning, and station operations across Chip, Shake, Grill, Southwest, and Expo. You’ll guide line cooks, verify portions, manage fryers and grills, and ensure each dish meets our quality standards.

The role requires strong sanitation, timely execution, and clear communication with the MOD and front of house to keep service smooth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and maintain attention to detail.
• Follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cook times and plate presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion items according to shift needs and MOD guidance.
• Maintain chip prep: fryers, coolers, and packaging standards.
• Prepare grilled items and maintain grill station cleanliness.
• Prep and portion wraps, salads, and other items at expo balance.
• Coordinate communication between kitchen and front of house during shifts.
• Monitor sanitation and follow FIFO/LDIR guidelines.
