Job summary

Sweet Lou's Restaurant and Bar is seeking a resourceful Kitchen Manager to work closely with the General Manager to maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

The role requires proven kitchen management experience, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Compensation ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 per year with two weeks paid vacation and a benefits package including health and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as kitchen manager.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service management.
• Extensive food, wine and beer knowledge.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Appraise personnel's performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive
• Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
• Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
• Control costs and minimize waste
• Successfully promote our brand
• Nurture a positive work environment and lead by example
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
