Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food products in a timely manner according to recipes and procedures.

The role emphasizes supervising production and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies, while managing staff performance and training to support career growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Back of House teams and schedules.
• Strong focus on inventory control and safety procedures.
• Ability to oversee purchasing, receiving and presenting food items.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the production and preparation of food per recipes and procedures.
• Enforce employment policies and ensure restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to maintain ticket times and throughput.
• Manage Back of House staff including evaluations, coaching and discipline.
• Provide daily feedback to key employees and conduct line Taste & Temp checks for inventory control and safety.
• Oversee safe handling, storage and maintenance of all kitchen items.
• Control food costs, waste and kitchen labor costs.
• Coordinate shift hours, assign tasks, and train staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring Back of House staff.
