Job summary

Bubba’s 33 is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food to high standards. You’ll manage staff, ensure safety and cost controls, and lead a team in a fast-paced, community-focused environment in Tempe.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, recipe adherence, and inventory control, with opportunities for growth in a popular restaurant family.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing production and preparation of food per recipes and procedures
• Enforcing employment policies and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing Back of House staff performance, evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Supporting development of key employees through daily feedback in one-on-ones
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and kitchen safety
• Overseeing safe handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding and enforcing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House staff, setting hours, schedules, and assigning tasks
• Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, hiring or recommending candidates
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with values and goals
