Job summary

Bubba’s 33 is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations including purchasing, receiving, and presenting food products in a timely way according to standard recipes and procedures. You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and manage BOH staff.

The role emphasizes managing food costs, enforcing policies, and developing team members while maintaining a fun, safe work environment and opportunities for advancement within the Bubba’s 33 brand.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and preparation of food following recipes and procedures
• Enforce employment policies and maintain restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Manage Back of House staff including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Provide daily feedback to key staff during one-on-ones
• Conduct Taste & Temp checks and oversee inventory and safety in the kitchen
• Oversee proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed
• Control food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Assign tasks, schedule hours, and direct work before/after open hours
• Train Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Review applications, interview, and hire or make recommendations
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
