Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Iowa is seeking a Kitchen Manager responsible for managing back-of-house operations and achieving sales and profit goals through enforcement of policies and standards. You will guide a team, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain a high-quality work environment.

You will direct staff, guarantee sanitary procedures, and oversee inventory, payroll, and expenses while maintaining strong financial data and operational excellence in a bustling restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food production.
• High school diploma required; some college or degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with employees, vendors and guests.
• Strong coordination of multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve plan profit levels while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and analysis of restaurant unit manpower, ensuring development and training of all employees including managers.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and new hire orientation across restaurant staff.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework; maintain ServSafe certification.
• Perform and assist in all functions for all restaurant positions; ensure proper food preparation and sanitation.
• Monitor temperatures to reduce food-borne illness risk factors; ensure productivity and service standards.
