Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager who will lead kitchen staff, oversee daily goals, and ensure guest satisfaction through consistent, high-quality food preparation and service. You will partner with the Kitchen Manager to drive operational excellence in a busy setting.

The role requires budgeting awareness, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, temperature checks, and managing ordering/receiving.

Qualifications

• Sanitation and safety fundamentals taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to keep within budget and streamline operations.
• Inform General Manager/Kitchen Manager of issues and propose solutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Monitor food temperatures to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.
• Ensure clear verbal and written communications.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment and supplies.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking items.
• Perform and assist in all functions for kitchen operations.
