Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing and presenting all food items in a timely manner per recipes and procedures.

You will supervise production, enforce policies, and ensure guest safety in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include directing productivity, coaching staff, conducting performance reviews, managing inventory and food costs, and training team members to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading back-of-house teams in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong focus on food safety and safety of guests.
• Proven ability to manage inventory, food costs and waste.
• Skilled in staff coaching, performance reviews and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with recipes and procedures.
• Enforcing employment policies and maintaining restaurant cleanliness and safety.
• Directing productivity to ensure timely food item ticket times.
• Manage Back of House staff performance, evaluations, coaching and discipline.
• Developing key employees, assistant managers and hourly staff with daily feedback.
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety.
