Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in a timely manner according to recipes and procedures.

You will supervise production, enforce policies, manage staff performance, and ensure food safety and cost controls. You will lead line checks, inventory management, and training for back-of-house personnel while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging work environment aligned with our

Qualifications

• Experience leading Back of House teams in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong understanding of food safety and inventory controls.
• Ability to train and coach staff for performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and ensuring restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient ticket times
• Managing Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Developing key employees through daily feedback and mentoring
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and kitchen safety
• Overseeing handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Ensuring safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor
• Directing work hours, schedules, and task assignments for BOH
• Training BOH staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications and hiring Back of House staff
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values
