Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee back-of-house operations and drive sales and profit by enforcing policies and standards.

You will lead teams, ensure guest satisfaction and develop staff through training, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety requirements. This role emphasizes ServSafe, cost control, and effective communication with the team.

Qualifications

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role; preferably in food production
• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred
• Must be able to communicate clearly with employees, vendors and guests
• Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
• Achieve planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
• Plan and analyze unit manpower with training and development of staff
• Recruit, train and conduct new hire orientation
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework
• Maintain ServSafe certification
• Assist in all restaurant functions and ensure proper food preparation and safety
• Monitor food temperatures and enforce sanitary standards
• Schedule and staff to meet productivity and service goals
• Oversee facility maintenance, energy use, safety and sanitation
• Manage inventory and control costs
• Prepare and review financial reports
• Participate in meetings and communicate with peers and management
