Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes and procedures. Responsibilities of a Kitchen Manager
  1. Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food, ensuring adherence to recipes and procedures.
  2. Enforce compliance with employment policies, maintain restaurant cleanliness, and ensure guest safety.
  3. Monitor and maintain efficient food ticket times.
  4. Manage performance of Back of House staff through evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  5. Develop key employees, including assistant managers and hourly staff, with daily feedback during one-on-ones.
  6. Conduct formal taste and temperature checks, oversee inventory and safety in the kitchen.
  7. Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
  8. Practice safe food handling procedures.
  9. Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs.
  10. Set work hours, create weekly schedules, and assign tasks for Back of House employees.
  11. Train staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  12. Participate in hiring processes for Back of House staff.
  13. Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and operational goals.
