Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards, and support our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth shift operations
  2. Oversee food preparation and ensure consistency in quality and presentation
  3. Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and kitchen supplies
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety regulations
  5. Train new kitchen staff and enforce kitchen protocols and procedures
  6. Assist with menu planning and cost control measures
  7. Monitor food waste and implement strategies for efficiency
  8. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food service
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a kitchen manager, line cook, or chef
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (e.g., ServSafe certification preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
