Overview
The Pump Kitchen Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing the staff and resources of the Pump & Pantry location to ensure efficient, high-quality, and profitable service of food across multiple brands, including P&P Food, Quiznos, Cinnabon, Little Caesar’s, KKC, and Scoops.

Responsibilities
- Hire, conduct performance reviews, develop employees, and manage scheduling. Address performance issues, manage corrective actions, and ensure payroll accuracy.
- Oversee food preparation and service for all brands, ensuring high-quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the kitchen, both internal and external.
- Report maintenance, customer, and personnel issues to upper management.
- Work with team members to prepare flavorful and popular food items.
- Manage kitchen staff for efficient supply provisioning and purchasing.
- Supervise portion control and food preparation to minimize waste.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure consistent food quality and service.
- Ensure personnel are in proper uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
- Train staff on policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Complete key management tasks such as scheduling, reporting, inventory, and end-of-month procedures accurately and timely.
- Handle opening and closing procedures, including paperwork and shift transitions.
- Resolve food quality and service complaints.
- Ensure compliance with sanitary practices, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide friendly and competent customer service across all brands.
- Arrive on time and ensure reliable attendance.
- Assist during staffing shortages to keep the kitchen operational.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Additional Duties
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- Travel to meetings and company functions as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise three or more employees directly.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Minimum six months of food handling or food service experience required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and follow product specifications.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm.

- Work at least one weekend per month and one late shift per week.
- Work at least 45 hours per week.
- Availability for holidays, weekends, and shifts.

Physical Requirements
The physical demands include occasionally lifting/moving up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, and occasionally sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Physical presence at the primary work location is required.
