Job summary

Parker's Kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Training to assist the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations and uphold Parker's Kitchen standards. You will help manage service, inventory, and staff development at a designated location, while gaining hands-on leadership experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and readiness to cover the Kitchen Manager when needed, with a clear path toward promotion to Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in food service operations.
• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Complete Food Safety Certification within the first month.
• Complete a skills-based certification within the first 120 days.
• Flexible hours, days, and shifts as needed by the business.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and employees in a respectful, courteous manner.
• Maintain efficient operating systems and daily procedures.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and assist with cost of sales reports.
• Assist in managing labor costs by scheduling staff.
• Enforce food safety and sanitation policies and ensure proper stock levels.
• Communicate procedures, promotions, and new products to the team.
• Support development of others and contribute to department success.
