Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train crew, ensure high-quality cooking, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. You will oversee food prep, inventory, and safety while promoting teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

Responsibilities include coaching Crew, maintaining kitchen standards, and ensuring equipment is kept in good condition. This is a full-time role offering benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures while performing kitchen duties.
• Cook and prep food to order and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, addressing quality issues as needed.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and sanitized; report issues.
• Maintain safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation when required.
