Job summary

Casey’s in Hawarden, IA is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team, train Team Members, and ensure food safety, inventory control, and 5S standards.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive guest experience, manage daily operations, and coach for success, with quarterly bonus opportunities and a full benefits package. Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $17.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience training and coaching kitchen team members.
• Ability to manage inventory and maintain 5S standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegating tasks effectively.
• Under Store Manager supervision, manage operations in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance.
• Partner with Store Manager to be accountable for all kitchen activities, maintain 5S standards, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain stock levels.
• Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, informing Store Manager.
• Model and coach Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service.
• Proficiently perform Store Team Member duties when needed.
