Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Frederick, MD is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master grill and sauté vegetables, order supplies, and mentor Crew toward future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll uphold high food quality and safety while maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen.

You will promote teamwork, guide throughput, and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires a high school diploma and restaurant experience, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma
• Have restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and address malfunctions quickly.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
