Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Severna Park, MD is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform high-quality food preparation, kitchen operations, and staff development. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

You will lead by example, ensure food quality, manage inventory, and collaborate with both back- and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience in fast-cook or quick-service environments.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support strong teamwork between back and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs promptly.
• Meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory rotations.
