Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew members for future leadership roles. The role emphasizes food quality, safety, and efficiency in a busy kitchen.

You will promote teamwork, ensure a clean, stocked kitchen, and deliver an excellent guest experience. Base pay ranges from $16.35 to $18.19 per hour with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Monitor equipment and ensure quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory records.
