Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen.

You will promote teamwork, support Crew members, and contribute to delivering a great customer experience while on shift. Prior restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Support a strong team dynamic between Back of House and Front of House.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe; report malfunctions.
