Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, ensure quality and safety, and train Crew members in a fast-paced kitchen. You will help develop future Kitchen Leaders and promote teamwork to deliver great customer experiences.

The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and a collaborative environment that supports back- and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and organized.
• Maintain and monitor kitchen equipment, ensuring it is in good repair.
