Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to train and lead a fast-paced kitchen team, ensuring high-quality, safely prepared food and excellent guest experience.

You will oversee cooking and prep to order, manage inventory, and mentor Crew members to grow into future Kitchen Leaders while upholding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and preparing food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house (Crew) and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, sanitized, and well organized; proper equipment maintenance.
• Keep kitchen equipment in good repair and fix malfunctions quickly.
• Ensure kitchen safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
