Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to manage cooking, food prep, and kitchen operations. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while upholding Chipotle’s standards for quality, safety, and guest service.

Responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, inventory, equipment maintenance, and ensuring clean, organized, and compliant kitchen facilities. This role emphasizes teamwork and fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to interact with guests and Crew.
• Strong teamwork and cooperation with back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Clear communication and ability to guide Crew through tasks while ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and address quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, sanitized and properly maintained.
• Monitor equipment and ensure timely repairs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Maintain MSDS and FIFO records as required.
