Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and lead a fast-paced kitchen team, ensuring high-quality, safe food preparation and great guest experiences. You will manage food prep, inventory, and safety, while mentoring crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities include enforcing kitchen procedures, maintaining stock, and promoting teamwork with back-of-house and front-of-house staff. Previous restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Hold a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and properly stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and inventory rotation (FIFO).
