Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while upholding quality and safety standards. You will train Crew members and help them become future Kitchen Leaders, fostering teamwork and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will follow Chipotle policies, maintain a clean, stocked kitchen, monitor inventory and equipment, and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure it is maintained; repair as needed.
• Ensure all Crew and kitchen adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory sheets.
