Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order supplies and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and a great customer experience across both back and front of house teams.

You will ensure food quality and safety daily, keep the kitchen organized and stocked, and model leadership while supporting crew development and operations excellence.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
