Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help ensure quality and safety of our food daily, keep the kitchen clean and well stocked, and model teamwork for a seamless guest experience. You will lead by example on the line, assist in training crews, and strive to meet station goals.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures; core responsibilities include cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS documentation and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
