Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring dishes are delicious, safe, and served promptly. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, manage stock and equipment, and promote teamwork to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures while cooking and prepping food to order.
• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO processes.
