Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to supervise food preparation, maintain quality and safety, and mentor Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will help ensure a clean, stocked kitchen and smooth operations during shifts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and delivering a great customer experience while meeting kitchen goals and procedures. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality, resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitization, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO procedures.
