Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and model teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The role emphasizes promoting teamwork, staying busy on the line, and contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and communicate it.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality, resolving issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely repairs.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
