Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, including grilling meats and sautéing vegetables, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. The role emphasizes quality, safety, teamwork, and customer experience in a fast-casual setting.

You will manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and model strong leadership. Prior restaurant experience and a high school diploma are expected, with opportunities for advancement and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow Chipotle’s policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Prevent injuries by following safety guidelines and MSDS/FIFO practices.
