Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform high standards of food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and well-maintained, support a strong Crew dynamic, and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy in every service. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer experience, and coaching teammates to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment as needed.
• Ensuring safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Filing MSDS and FIFO inventory rotation.
